We are so glad you are here. This guide explains how to apply for Hope for the Holidays so your children can be adopted by a sponsor this Christmas.
Your privacy matters: all personal information you provide is confidential and is never shared with sponsors. Sponsors only see your family number, your children's ages and sizes, their wish lists, and your family story.
How it works

Register your family
Complete the application by November 28, 2026. Share three gift wishes and sizes for each child, plus your family story.

We confirm we got it
We will reach out by email or text to confirm we received your application. Please watch for our message and keep your contact info current.

Your family is matched
When a sponsor chooses your family, we will let you know your children have been adopted for Christmas.

We may follow up
We might text or email if we need to clarify anything on a wish list so your sponsor can shop for the right gifts.

Pick up your gifts
Families pick up their children's gifts December 10-20, 2026 at the gym. We will contact you when your gifts are ready.
Application - important information
- All personal information you provide is confidential and will not be shared with sponsors.
- You may register up to nine (9) children on one application. If you have more than nine children, please contact MentorSports Gymnasium.
- Please answer the three (3) family story questions as fully as possible. This information (without any personal data) is shared with potential sponsors and is what encourages them to choose your family. Each answer must be at least 140 characters.
- MentorSports Gymnasium will use your mobile phone number and email address to communicate with you. Please be sure to tell us if anything changes.
Gift wish list
- Please make three (3) gift wishes for each child.
- Bicycles: maximum 2 bicycles per household for children ages 3-8. Please select the size appropriate to your child's height so they receive the correct size bike (a helmet is included).
- For clothing items or shoes, please select the appropriate size for each child.
- Children ages 13 and over: choices are limited to gift cards, clothing, or shoes.
- Please use the "additional comments" field to tell us about any special needs, preferences, or other helpful information about your child or their wish list. This helps your sponsor choose the most appropriate gift.
The family story (this is important)
- Tell us about your children - what do they enjoy doing, and what are their dreams for the future?
- How does your family normally celebrate the holiday season? Do your children have special foods, activities, or traditions they enjoy?
- Why do you need holiday assistance this year, and what are the main challenges facing you and your children?
Picking up your children's gifts
- If your family is sponsored, we will contact you to pick up your gifts at MentorSports Gymnasium, 6924 Commercial Dr., Morrow, GA 30260.
- The pick-up period is December 10-20, 2026. Exactly when your gifts are ready depends on when your sponsor delivers them, so please watch for our message before coming.
- Please bring a photo ID that matches the name on your application.

- If you discover an error or need to make a change, please do not submit another application.
