VOLUNTEER ROLE
Schedule: Flexible; a few hours a week, with more around tournaments and seasonal events
What you'll do- Hand out flyers for gym events, programs, leagues, and open play around the community
- Visit local businesses, schools, and churches to promote MentorSports and ask to post or leave flyers
- Help spread the word about tournaments, leagues, Hope for the Holidays, and other events
- Staff promotional tables at community events and fairs
- Share events on personal social media and invite friends and neighbors (optional)
- Report back on where flyers were placed and any community interest or leads
- Represent MentorSports positively and professionally everywhere you go
Requirements- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with business owners and the public
- Dependable and self-motivated, able to work independently
- Able to represent the MentorSports brand and message consistently
- Reliable transportation is helpful for visiting businesses, but not required
- Willing to complete orientation
- Background screening required
- This role does not involve directly supervising or working with children
