VOLUNTEER ROLE
Schedule: Event days and seasonal projects, plus planning meetings when needed; sign up per event
What you'll do- Assist with planning, preparation, setup, and operation of special events
- Help with programs such as Hope for the Holidays, community giveaways, tournaments, fundraising events, 5Ks, and other outreach initiatives
- Assist with participant or family registration and check-in
- Organize supplies, gifts, equipment, signage, and event materials
- Help communicate with participants, sponsors, donors, vendors, and community partners as assigned
- Assist with decorating, setup, breakdown, and cleanup
- Help distribute gifts, supplies, resources, or other program materials
- Provide hospitality and directions to guests
- Attend event-planning meetings when needed
- Represent the organization professionally and positively in the community
Requirements- Dependable and willing to commit to assigned events
- Friendly, welcoming, and comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people
- Organized and able to follow instructions
- Works well as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed during an event
- Willing to complete required orientation and training
- Background screening required
